Born on July 14, 1975 in Columbus, Georgia, Tim Hudson (Timothy Adam Hudson) played for the Oakland Athletics and Atlanta Braves over the course of his 8 year career. Hudson broke into the bigs on June 8, 1999 with the Oakland Athletics, and put up a 3.23 ERA in 136.1 innings pitched in 1999, his rookie year.
There is some disagreement on what was Tim Hudson's most productive season. Some believe that it was 2001, when he posted a 3.37 ERA, won 18 games and struck out 181 batters. However, others believe that it was 2003, when he posted a 2.70 ERA, won 16 games and struck out 162 batters.
