Had a stand-out career at Louisville where he threw for 5,853 yards with 38 touchdowns and 12 interceptions. He is the school’s 4th all-time leading passer and first in pass completion percentage with 66%. He was named Conference Player of the Year in 2004 and was a finalist for the Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award as a senior.
Selected in the fourth round (121st overall) by the Carolina Panthers in the NFL Draft.

LeFors saw limited action as 2nd string quarterback until starter Ricky Ray suffered a separated shoulder on September 28. LeFors finished the game and started the last five games of the season. He was impressive, completing 110 of 181 passes (60.8%) for 1193 yards and six touchdowns. He also showed he can run, rushing 39 times for 204 yards and two touchdowns. He was named Rogers CFL Offensive Player of the Week for his performance versus the Saskatchewan Roughriders on October 26 when he became the 9th Eskimo quarterback to throw for more than 400 yards in a regular season game and set Eskimo season highs in passing attempts, completions and yards by going 34 of 48 for 412 yards. He spread the ball around to eight different receivers and threw for three touchdowns. He also had 31 yards on six carries.
