The San Antonio Spurs defeated the Minnesota Timberwolves 103-90 at the Target Center in Minneapolis earlier tonight, thanks in no small part to the 57 points scored by the Spur bench. The Spurs need one more win - hopefully against the Utah Jazz, their next opponent - to secure the West's top seed from the Dallas Mavericks. If they win their next two over Utah and the Houston Rockets, they will set a franchise record for wins in a season (over the 1994-95 62-20 team).

Leaders Points: Marcus Banks, Minnesota (25) Rebounds: Tim Duncan, San Antonio (8) Assists: Bruce Bowen, San Antonio (5) Steals: Marcus Banks, Minnesota (4) Blocks: Rasho Nesterovic, San Antonio (3)
