Born on March 17, 1976 in Louisville, Kentucky, Scott Downs (Scott Jeremy Downs) played for the Montreal Expos, Chicago Cubs and Toronto Blue Jays over the course of his 5 year career. Downs broke into the bigs on April 9, 2000 with the Montreal Expos, and put up a 5.29 ERA in 97 innings pitched in 2000, his rookie year.
Most people believe that Scott Downs's best season was 2006, when he posted a 4.09 ERA and struck out 61 batters.
