The Boston Red Sox topped the Baltimore Orioles 6-5 Tuesday night. This marks the 13th win in a row over the O's for the Sox. Curt Schilling went five and a third to get the win. He gave up 9 hits,5 runs (all earned), 3 homeruns, 0 walks, and struck out 2. Bruce Chen made his return to the Orioles rotation due to the injury to Daniel Cabrera. Chen got a no-decision after going 4 and giving up 5 hit, 4 runs (3 earned), 2 walks, and 4 k's. Manny Ramirez and Trot Nixon both had solo homeruns in the second. Ramon Hernandez hit a solo homerun in the 4th. Then the O's took the lead in the 5th behind 2 run shots by Jay Gibbons and Brandon Fahey. Immediately after though, David Ortiz would double in the winning runs and Jonathan Papelbon got his 14th save of the season.
