Biography

Paul Molitor (Paul Leo Molitor) was born on August 22, 1956 in St. Paul, Minnesota. He made his Major League debut on April 7, 1978 for the Milwaukee Brewers. In 1978, his rookie year, he hit .273 with 6 home runs and 45 RBI. Molitor played for the Milwaukee Brewers, Toronto Blue Jays and Minnesota Twins over the course of his 21 year career.

There is some disagreement on what was Paul Molitor's most productive season. Some believe that it was 1993, when he slugged 22 home runs, hit for a .332 average and knocked in 111 runs. However, others believe that it was 1982, when he slugged 19 home runs, stole 41 bases, hit for a .302 average and knocked in 71 runs.
