Biography

Michael Tucker (Michael Anthony Tucker) was born on June 25, 1971 in South Boston, Virginia. He made his Major League debut on April 26, 1995 for the Kansas City Royals. In 1995, his rookie year, he hit .260 with 4 home runs and 17 RBI. Tucker played for the Kansas City Royals, Atlanta Braves, Cincinnati Reds, Chicago Cubs, San Francisco Giants, Philadelphia Phillies and New York Mets over the course of his 12 year career.

There is some disagreement on what was Michael Tucker's most productive season. Some believe that it was 1997, when he hit for a .283 average and knocked in 56 runs. However, others believe that it was 2002, when he knocked in 56 runs.
