Biography

Born on January 12, 1978 in Los Mochis, Sinaloa (Mexico), Luis Ayala (Luis Ignacio Ayala) played for the Montreal Expos and Washington Nationals over the course of his 3 year career. Ayala broke into the bigs on March 31, 2003 with the Montreal Expos, and put up a 2.92 ERA in 71 innings pitched in 2003, his rookie year.
