Biography

John Antonelli (John Lawrence Antonelli) was born on July 15, 1915 in Memphis, Tennessee. He made his Major League debut on September 16, 1944 for the St. Louis Cardinals. In 1945, his rookie year, he hit .254 with 1 home run and 28 RBI. Antonelli played for the St. Louis Cardinals and Philadelphia Phillies over the course of his 2 year career.
