Biography

Born on June 6, 1979 in Phoenix, Arizona, Jeremy Affeldt (Jeremy David Affeldt) played for the Kansas City Royals and Colorado Rockies over the course of his 5 year career. Affeldt broke into the bigs on April 6, 2002 with the Kansas City Royals, and put up a 4.64 ERA in 77.2 innings pitched in 2002, his rookie year.

Most people believe that Jeremy Affeldt's best season was 2003, when he posted a 3.93 ERA and struck out 98 batters.
