Scouting Report[]

Combining with Matt Kemp and Russell Martin Loney figures to be apart of yet another excellent group of young players developed by Dodger scouts. A future Gold Glover. Has drawn comparisons to Wally Joyner, Will Clark and Travis Hafner. Initially, Dodger scouts were concerned about the lack of power for his ideal build. Loney has since quieted those concerns by going on a tear in his brief time in the majors. His 2006 September drew the awe of the baseball world as he tied all time great Gil Hodges Dodger record of having 9 hits and RBI's in a game. If the Dodgers youth movement goes as planned he should be the star first basemen of this team for years to come.
