New York Yankee mercenary Alex Rodriguez has a reputation for not being clutch. Its seems as the future HOFer seems to turn on the juice when the games don't matter or when the Yanks are up big. Last night, however, might represent the turning-point in Arods un-clutch career. As reported in Newsday, after Joe Torre lovingly told Arod to "to trust his swing, put the ball in play and good things will happen." Mr. Rodriguez lined a single to center that scored the go-ahead run and sent the Yankees to a 4-2 win over the Devil Rays. Bravo, Arod. You did something meaningful. That's worth writing about.
