Born on July 25, 1973 in San Pedro de Macoris, Macoris (Dominican Republic), Guillermo Mota (Guillermo Mota) played for the Montreal Expos, Los Angeles Dodgers, Florida Marlins, New York Mets and Cleveland Indians over the course of his 8 year career. Mota broke into the bigs on May 2, 1999 with the Montreal Expos, and put up a 2.93 ERA in 55.1 innings pitched in 1999, his rookie year.
