Adam Dunn played most of last season for the Reds with a hairline fracture in his right hand. His injury occurred when he dove into third base in a game against Houston in May. Later in the season, he was hit by a pitch in the same spot. It is unknown whether Reds manager Dave Miley or the Reds front office were aware of Dunn's injury. Dunn said his hand still hurts. He shurgged off concern, saying that its being treated by a doctor, who recommends a splint.
