Born on August 16, 1931 in Baltimore, Maryland, Don Rudolph (Frederick Donald Rudolph) played for the Chicago White Sox, Cincinnati Reds, Washington Senators and Cleveland Indians over the course of his 6 year career. Rudolph broke into the bigs on September 21, 1957 with the Chicago White Sox, and put up a 3.62 ERA in 176.2 innings pitched in 1962, his rookie year.

Most people believe that Don Rudolph's best season was 1962, when he posted a 3.62 ERA and struck out 68 batters.
