Biography

Born on September 9, 1970 in Newark, New Jersey, Dan Miceli (Daniel Miceli) played for the Pittsburgh Pirates, Detroit Tigers, San Diego Padres, Florida Marlins, Colorado Rockies, Texas Rangers, New York Yankees, Houston Astros, Cleveland Indians and Tampa Bay Devil Rays over the course of his 14 year career. Miceli broke into the bigs on September 9, 1993 with the Pittsburgh Pirates, and put up a 4.66 ERA in 58 innings pitched in 1995, his rookie year.

There is some disagreement on what was Dan Miceli's most productive season. Some believe that it was 1995, when he posted a 4.66 ERA, notched 21 saves and struck out 56 batters. However, others believe that it was 1998, when he posted a 3.22 ERA, won 10 games and struck out 70 batters.
