The attorneys for Minnesota Vikings players Daunte Culpepper and Moe Williams asked the for a dismissal of their case because of racial discrimination.

Culpepper and Williams face trial on the misdemeanor charges of indecent conduct and lewdness. The charges arise out of two boat cruises during last October. Ninety guests, including other Vikings players, witnessed the alleged indecent and lewd acts, which include heavy drinking, women giving lap dances, and sex.

In their legal defense, the Culpepper and Williams accuse a prosecutor of selectively choosing to prosecute black men while not prosecuting two white men, the boat's captain and club manager. The motion papers allege that investigators possess evidence that the captain of one the boats "touched a woman's exposed breast with his mouth while he piloted the boat," an event that occurred immediately after "the manager of a strip club paid the woman and also touched her with his mouth."
