Vicmar

Victor Martinez, catcher. Victor went to his coaches before the 2007 season and told him that he wants to become a complete ball player. To do this he would need to relearned how to throw out base stealers. Well, they did it, and Victor took his team to the 2007 ALCS.

A Look Ahead

The 2008 Cleveland Indians will attempt to do something they were unable to accomplish last year by advancing past the ALCS. At times the Indians appeared unstoppable behind dominant pitchers C.C. Sabathia and Fausto Carmona; two pitchers who look to keep their form while rolling into 2008 to defend their division title.

The Cleveland Indians faltered in last year's American League Championship Series; losing to the Boston Red Sox. But, after a successful year, the Indians look to repeat as division champs and make a run at a World Series Championship. This team will never win with the current manager.
