Biography[]

Chris Widger (Christopher Jon Widger) was born on May 21, 1971 in Wilmington, Delaware. He made his Major League debut on June 23, 1995 for the Seattle Mariners. In 1997, his rookie year, he hit .234 with 7 home runs and 37 RBI. Widger played for the Seattle Mariners, Montreal Expos, New York Yankees, St. Louis Cardinals, Chicago White Sox and Baltimore Orioles over the course of his 10 year career.

There is some disagreement on what was Chris Widger's most productive season. Some believe that it was 1999, when he knocked in 56 runs. However, others believe that it was 1998, when he slugged 15 home runs and knocked in 53 runs.
