Biography

Born on December 31, 1977 in Minneapolis, Minnesota, Chris Reitsma (Christopher Michael Reitsma) played for the Cincinnati Reds and Atlanta Braves over the course of his 6 year career. Reitsma broke into the bigs on April 4, 2001 with the Cincinnati Reds, and put up a 5.29 ERA in 182 innings pitched in 2001, his rookie year.

Most people believe that Chris Reitsma's best season was 2003, when he posted a 4.29 ERA, notched 12 saves and struck out 53 batters.
