In a widely expected offseason move, the Arizona Cardinals re-signed starting quarterback Kurt Warner to a 3-year, $18 million deal. Incentive clauses can push the contract to $20-24 million. Warner will make $7 million in 2006, not including incentives. Cardinals coach Dennis Green said that even with Warner signed, the team may still look at QB prospects in the upcoming draft.
