Born on July 7, 1983 in Glendale, California, Brandon McCarthy (Brandon Patrick McCarthy) played for the Chicago White Sox for his entire 2 year career. McCarthy broke into the bigs on May 22, 2005 with the Chicago White Sox, and put up a 4.03 ERA in 67 innings pitched in 2005, his rookie year.
