Richard Zednik of the Florida Panthers skated for the first time today since his neck laceration and the life saving surgery he had on February 10th. He only skated for a few minutes and he hopes that the doctors will clear him relatively soon to begin working out.
The Panthers are attempting to pull off a late season comeback and make it to the playoffs with out their star forward. They are currently sitting in 11th place with 79 points, three behind the Philadelphia Flyers for 8th place and eight back of Carolina for the division lead as they have just lost in a shootout to the Hurricanes 2-1.
