New Zealand will be looking to captain Daniel Vettori for a match winning performance. England who resumed day 3 at a 152/4 were bundled out by the kiwi spinner for a total of just 202 conceding a lead of 179. Vetorri took help of the turning pitch to finish with five wickets.New Zealand went into bat with confidence and a healthy lead but were in for a rude awakening. The wicket which had helped the kiwi spinner now favoured the English and Monty Panesar took full advantage of the situation and bundled the kiwis out for a paltry 114 giving England a glimmer of hope. Panesar finished with 6 for 37 of 17 overs. A stiff target of 294 on a turning wicket would not be easy for the English. The English had to bide their time at the crease if they wanted to win and did considerably well to finish the day at 76/1 with Vettori getting the sole wicket. We have a very interesting day of cricket ahead of us.
