We thought you would enjoy a rundown of NFL free agency tidbits instead of us recapping the riveting Bucks vs Nets game from last night.

The Jets apparently have reached a deal to trade Jonathan Vilma to the Saints. They also are expecting to sign former Steelers guard Alan Faneca by Sunday (the Jets offered 20 million in guarantees) and trade a third round pick for Carolina Panthers DT Kris Jenkins ( New York Daily News)

The Raiders signed DT/DE Tommy Kelly to a lucrative 7- year $50 million contract with $18.125 in guaranteed money. If you are saying to yourself right now, who is Tommy Kelly? Don't worry you are not the only one, this guy is getting the largest contract ever for a DT and he has never made a Pro Bowl ( San Francisco Chronicle)

Packers fans did you think your team had franchised DT Corey Williams? Not so fast my friend! They decided to actively shop Williams late in the game and traded him to the Cleveland Browns last night for a second round pick. This leaves the Browns with no picks in rounds one or two in the upcoming draft. They gave up the #1 in the draft day trade to land Brady Quinn ( Cleveland Plain Dealer)

In other Browns news Derek Anderson rejected the Browns 3-year $21 million tender offer. If a team would like to outbid for Anderson they would surrender a 1st and 3rd round draft pick to Cleveland ( ESPN)

As we thought would happen, the Pats signed LB Tedy Bruschi to a multi-year contract. Junior Seau's fate remains up in the air ( Boston Globe)

The Cowboys re-signed left tackle Flozell Adams to a 7-year $42 million deal with $15 million of that guaranteed. Just as important they also tendered RB Marion Barber at $2.562 million in hopes they can reach a long-term deal with him soon ( ESPN)
