According to the Associated Press, as of 9 AM, Joe Jackson Gibbs has retired as President and head coach of the Washington Redskins.  This marks the end of the second tour of duty for the Hall of Fame Coach, who also coached the Redskins from 1980-92.  Joe Gibbs second stint in Washington has been a bumpy ride to say the very least.

With the Gibbs gone from the organization, there is a major void the Redskins will look to fill over the next few months.  Of course all the typical names are already being circulated for who will be the next coach of the Washington Redskins.
