The man that won the hearts of so many Patriots fans is calling it a career.

Troy Brown announced his retirement after 15 seasons with the Patriots record in receptions. Brown had a break out season in 2001 when he became Tom Brady's safe receiver and we all remember the punt return for a touchdown in the 2001 AFC championship game against the Steelers. Brown had many exciting plays as a Patriot in his 15 seasons with the team, He was a part of 5 trips to the Super Bowl for the Patriots and played a major role in the teams first title in 2001.

A possible hall of famer, Brown was a leader on the field and always could come up with the big plays when the team needed him.
