It may not seem like a big game, but I am checking this one off as my game of the week, the Cleveland Browns face off against the Cincinnati Bengals, in a showdown of winless teams.
Last year this game was a shootout with the Browns taking it in overtime, what’s the outcome this year? I am going to go out on a limb and say that this will be Derek Anderson’s last game as the Brown’s starter. The Browns offense has proved to be a one hit wonder, and this is not there one hit, they had it last year and it’s over now. The Browns are last in the league in points, with even the St. Louis Rams putting up more points. The Houston Texans have put up more points in their 2 games than the Browns have in three. While the Bengals defense is nothing to be afraid of the Bengals defense will win this battle.
On the other side of the ball the Bengals are not the best team in the league, but they do have weapons. Carson Palmer, Chad Johnson and TJ Houshmandzadeh will all have big days against the Browns defense. Cleveland’s defense is not the worst in the league but against a high-powered offense like the Bengals have it could be a long day for them.
This one ends with the Bengals picking up their first win and the Browns keeping the losing streak alive, 38-17 Bengals.
