[edit] The RulesHere's my idea of how it should work: Each day, everyone puts up 4 players for auction. A player is put up for auction by sending an email to the google group with the player's name in the subject, and a dollar value in the message. Bidding is then open for those players. Bidding will continue on each player for 24 hours. Now, last time, there was issues regarding last minute bids whereby an owner would reman dormant until the last minute and then outbid another owner, thus stealing the player. So, my proposed solution is as follows: In the case where users are either engaged in some sort of a bidding war (ie it's still going back and forth between them at the end of the 24 hour period), or it is clear that one user attempted to "game" another user with a last minute bid (non-involved owners would vote and the majority decision would rule), both users would send an email to either myself (as commissioner) or if I am involved, to another user with their MAX bid (ie the most they would spend on that player). Whoever's bid was higher will get the player for that price. The draft will continue until everyone has the minimum roster requirements or until one week has passed, which ever comes later.
