Sports books made into films/TV series: Baseball
Films based on books set in the world of Baseball (so far the list includes only MLB, but is intended for all baseball films/books).
- The book ‘’Fever Pitch’‘ has been made into two films, one using the same sport as is mentioned in the book (Fever Pitch), soccer/or Football (non-USA use of the term), and one which uses MLB as the sport. The book, and the original movie, is about a fan of the Arsenal F.C. team (which plays soccer, otherwise known in most of the world as football), while the second movie, the one in this list, deals with a fan of the Boston Red Sox, a baseball (MLB) team.
