Safe call but I do agree with you but not because of my relationship with him as a kid. What he did for the game and two the game puts him into a class all by himself. Lou was the greatest. Sincerely a beautiful and wonderful individual. But the BABE was so far out of real it wasn't even funny. I look today and still haven't found anyone near what Ruth was and did. Had he been around today MJ and the rest of the wantobees would be lost in the scuffle. Some gret players have come alone since and will in the future but one statement I feel I can make today is there is only ONE BABE RUTH and he not a candy bar....

Do you ever use any of the other information places? Some of the ones my son has used in the past have only limited amounts of information on any particular player or team. I like reading your articles a lot because you how to really write it the way it is suppose to be done. Me I am still an old write it down the way I remember it. Some of the time I even get the right grammar but usually I am in too much of a hurry to put in marks here and there. My hands start to hurt after only a couple of paragraphs sometimes and my spelling isn't the greatest. So now my greatgranddaughter types for me after I sit and tell her what to write. She is a freshman at UCLA and can only do it for me on the weekends she comes home. So now I will be having to do it myself and it will take extra time to do any of the articles. I am starting to put them on tape so my son can write them down later on and maybe that is the way to go. What do you remember about Lou D and his time with the Yankees?
