I'm glad you enjoyed your stay here. Fox Chapel is a beautiful neighborhood and Squirle hill is one of the more cultural neighborhoods along with its neighbor Shadyside. I hope you got a chance to see Walnut St. in Shadyside. I have heard people say that Pittsburgh is a racist city before. I for one think this is a fallacy. Is it a segregated city? Yes. I think this is what fuels the "racist city" label. The region also suffers from "Brain Drain", which is when all of the younger educated people leave for greener pastures in other cities. The result is a number of minors, the uneducated, and senior citizens make up the majority. But I hope one day you will return and see that those defaming the city truly are a dying breed. It really is a shame that a city with the monicker of "the melting pot" would be considered racist. I apologize that you had to deal with such peopole.
Did you enjoy your stay in the 'Burgh? Not a good day to watch the Bucs, with the Pens playing, not to many were interested in the Baseball game.
Okay. I'll let you know what my final plans will be as soon as possible. One idea I was thinking of is having each of us giving their take on the upcoming series and then offer some possible predictions. Whoever posts the article, it would be where the other contributors would send their portion of their series overview in and it would get published. Obviously, we'd be identifying each other's overview/prediction by username. Alright, I'll catch up with ya later.
ha, the NU huskies took something like 9 wins to get ranked...plus ECAC (i think) isn't as tough as some of the other conferences...
don't scoff at 2 votes...it means the voters are taking notice...growth to about the top 10 is exponential if they continue to play well...
anyways, probably makes them top 25 or top 20, figured you'd be interested...
hmmmm I don't know about a right fit, but definitely a consideration. He's numbers are almost even with what Sabourin has to offer, and it would almost seem that at this point they'd just stick it out with him. I'd like to see what transpires this week though...
If they pick him up, you're getting a game puck for that prediction!
Hextall may have been a nut case, but I think that is over-rated. he was crazy and wild the first couple of seasons he was in the NHL. The stick whacking in the Cup Finals in 87 and the Chelios attack gave him that reputation.
I was at the Flyers-Devils game where Claude scored with less than 2 minutes left in the game. The play occurred right in front of me. What people don't remember is that the Flyers defenseman most likely screened Hextall on that play.
Hextall was the player that most represented the Flyers organization. Sadly, the Flyers organization, under Clarke and Snider, is not well liked by the rest of the NHL. Hence, Hextall never got the recognition he deserves.
Just saw the forum post. Great to see some fans visiting the ArmchairGM.com site. If only we can get them to join in on the fun around here. (nods)
Get the hell outta here! Really? I gotta go check out that Devils section of NJ.com ASAP! Thanks for the heads up. :)
I didn't realize that when board-to-boards are public they go to everyone, that's a You problem. I retract my stalking statement, however I don't retract my opinion, or my ability to express it freely with Hoch. Again if you don't like it, that's a you problem.
It's funny how you stalked my comment from Ed's page to come after me in a conversation that has nothing to do with you. My opinion is your a whiner and you've contractdicted yourself in the past. I refuse to get into this with you because it's really none of your business.
Definitely, Patrik had some good years left in him when he went to NJ. It'll be interesting to see how his son Alexander pans out. Alexander's current club, Brynas, is having a tough start so far in the Swedish Elitserien.
I've already told Tyrone my thoughts privately, and yes, Fack or F*ck is ok. Just is. Couldn't really explain it, it just is that way.
There is no such thing as cyberstalking IMO. Does he know your address? It's the cyberworld, all you need is a click of a mouse If you don't want to hear from him, you can delete your messages you know.
