I don't understand how the NHL could hate Martin Straka. I'm clueless as to why they would. Should be interesting conversation between EJ Hradek and Don LeGreca tomorrow on NHL Live. They read an e-mail I sent in last September about the Winnipeg Sun article that ripped the Phoenix Coyotes. Jets fans are so bitter they hate Arizona hockey fans. I say, too damn bad.... Okay, Tuesday night will be here before we know it, so I hope the Rangers extend this series.

Even as a Pens fan, I have to say - it was definitely a questionable call. But then I also have to think, if he had black pads on the puck probably wouldn't have even gotten to that point. On one hand, I think the NHL hates Straka. On the other, I think the Rangers are just going to have 'that kind' of series.

This series isn't in the bag till it's at 4 games for a team. Although the Penguins have really given me no reason to lose faith, I still remain apprehensive in the over-confidence department...if not to potentially jinx the team in doing so.

The goal should've counted, but the early whistle killed that. MAF claimed he had it in his pads as said at the press conference, but I disagree. But, there is no review of the play, so there's nothing I can say or do about it that would change things. The Penguins are in the driver's seat as much as I cannot stand that, but the Rangers have to hold serve on their ice or the series will be short... Gotta go read your article now.

Now answer this - do you genuinely think that whistle on Straka's 'almost' goal was early?

haha they're a fickle people, but people nonetheless. If you ever had to gauge the overall progress of mankind's charisma and character, Philly is the last place you want to look.

Yeah just update the link with the new dot com site, I appreciate it. As for covering the game, I think I'm just going to do a basic recap on it with a little more emphasis on how the network handled the coverage as a whole. Feel free to do whatever it is you'd like to do. Don't let my blogging on the team interfere with your plans.

Hey Frank, I see you have switched blog sites from Blogger to SB Nation. Sorry I haven't commented much of late, but I still read your articles regularly. Question, do you want me to have both your old and new blog sites on my blogroll or just the new one? For the moment, I have just the new one up right now, but I can include both if you want me to... Oh and another thing, what are your plans in covering Tuesday's game? I was thinking of writing an article next week recapping the events, but I want to see what you want to do as well considering the Penguins are one of the participants.
