False Prophet's Board-To-Board with Cheezer
that's a very good question cheezer and i have no answer to it.
I'm sure you're happier than ever before now that Favre has crossed the border ;)
Don't know if you can do anything about this, but the New Articles section doesn't appear to be updating.
the issue with itn is that it's currently protected so only admins can edit it but all the admins are super busy right now. If you update the version that is for all Users and then message me I'll update the real version (I get an email when someone writes on my board so my iPhone goes off when I get it). Once I get out of school I'm going to try and see if I can get the necessary privliges so I can create a new level of user privliges and edit the page to allow more people to access. This site is kinda on life support since the founders no longer work for wikia and wikia doesn't care about us so the site is being run by admins, and all the active ones are in school giving us very little time. Plus i'm the only one who's ever done the type of programming on a wiki that this type of thing needs, and I'm not that good at it
If you write it, I'll read it.
Feel free to use any of our conversation as filler (as long as you don't use it to embarrass me :-) ).
I see where you're coming from, especially with the concern about the shrinking red zone. Your idea about minor contact may be where the league ends up in a year or two. However, my concern with that idea is that it results in a subjective penalty. What is "minor contact"? It leave too much in the hands of the officials as to what constitutes a penalty. Kind of like the difference between defensive holding and pass interference. Where do you draw the line?
One thing I like about the new rule is that it's not in the hands of the official. If the feet are in, it's a completion.
We'll see what works.
Just getting back to you on the force out rule. My problem was that it was too subjective and it wasn't reviewable.
The receivers are already bigger and stronger than the DBs. They also have the advantage of knowing where they are going.
Help the defense play defense. Too many rules are skewed in favor of the offense and scoring because league officials think that's what all fans want.
I knew about the radios.
It's about time they came around on the force-out rule. I've been hoping for that for years.
OK, I got it saved. I created the title first and then edited it to backfill the code.
However, something is wrong with the image. Please look at ((Cheezer Fan)) when you get the time.
Thanks.
I've created a fanbox (I have the code saved locally.) How do I save it? I can't find a nice easy link that says "create fanbox"
BTW, I misspoke on the thread when I said I had seen that fanbox help page. I had seen some help for fanboxes, just not that page. Thank you, it should help me.
But, like I said, the reason for the thread was to get others thinking about one central repository for all the fanboxes.
So, how do we add an image to a fanbox?
If people don't inlcude the code to save the box to the template page, where do they go? Is there anything that can be done to move them there? I'd hate to re-create the wheel by making a fanbox that already exists.
Of course, I have no ideas for fanboxes anyway.
I saw your message to Dan regarding th Ekom/Manny account issue. Be careful. Once you start making special exceptions, it becomes a slippery slope. No one should be above the rules. No one.
So I'm finally getting around to editing my page, the ArmchairGM section you set up for me, and I can't. It won't let me edit that section.
Is there some sort of user privelage that's associated with the creator?
Thanks again for the help. Mike
How do you add all these sections to your profile page?
