Sounds great. I don't think I can be committed enough to be a beat writer but I do plan to post about LAL once a week or so.

Beast, I have no objection to you contributing some Lakers stuff as well, but I have already laid out a framework for how I plan to cover the Lakers. I am planning one article a day this week, leading up to the season opener (on which i am planning to write a running diary). After that i'm planning to write 1-2 articles on each week's games, as well as 1-2 articles on general topics related to the team. However, I would welcome any articles that supplement my work on the Lakers.

Oh, and I am not trying to intrude or anything like that.

Emile, I understand that you are the Lakers beat writer. Is it possible for me to help out? Would you like my help. Maybe we could get 4 posts a week. What do you think?
