Hey, I didn't want to clog up your tribute to Lindbergh with a debate about Hextall. great idea for your next article though. My point with Hextall is that yes he was a great goalie. But he was also a nutcase and throughout his career gave up some big goals at some really bad times. I specifically remember him waving at a harless wrist shot from Clause Lemieux with less than 2 minutes left in a playoff game. I can't remember if the Flyers were up 3-1 in the series or 2-1, but either way it devestated the Flyers. He did that throughout his career. Plus, he was a head case.
