Seems like you're into handicapping, you should check out my site that I just launched. You'll be able to pick against live odds and you'll eventually be able to sell your picks. If you don't feel like doing that you can enter in contests where you'll be able to win free prizes. But I'd love some feedback on the site and what you think would make it better.

you stopped updating us on your Management of England - did you get sacked?

The "base ranking" comes from either the preseason poll or it would work like the BCS, where we wait a month and a half before we calculate. I'll have to go back a season or two just for smaple size and system tweaking. I just want to get something flowing in real time. 119 is a crapper of a sample size though.

It was sometime last football season, and I was looking for it because I realized it might be time to start fiddling with the idea. Either way, I just realized, it does not matter if we can't find the post because I can just google some chess scoring tables and start from there.

You suck at searching, but you WIN at brainstorming.

Could you possibly point in the direction of a post or comment or article or lockerroom that you suggested a possible adaptation of Chess ranking tables for use with college football? I'm fairly certain you wrote it, but I could be 100% wrong.

FYI, there's IndyCar qualifying in about an hour's time (10:15 your time). Since we're on a right turner this week, it's knockout qualifying.

That was one of those ones where they started naming GPs after nearby countries to get around the "1 GP per country rule" right? Kind of like Imola being the San Marino Grand Prix.
