Awesome
Lakers guard Kobe Bryant reached another milestone on Friday, becoming the youngest player to score 24,000 career points.
Player Updates
During a season in which Jeremiah Trotter, Junior Seau and Ahman Green each unexpectedly returned to football, cornerback Ty Law now will do the same.
OMG WTF?!?
San Francisco Giants ace Tim Lincecum has an agreement with a prosecutor in his home state of Washington that could settle his misdemeanor marijuana charge.
Have you lost respect for Tim Lincecum? Is this a big deal? Is it less of a deal when you compare him to... let's say... Michael Phelps?

Cool
Flynn was 3rd on the depth chart as the highly touted Brian Brohm was drafted to back up Aaron Rodgers. Flynn just kept getting better and better. If 12 goes down, the Pack is in trouble, but Flynn may be serviceable one day if he keeps progressing. Can the same be said of another LSU QB

I pay $45/year for the privilege of reading Bob McGinn. This book is a must have if you love football.
The book can be summed up with what Bedard said, "But the real reason to buy the book is the answering of one fundamental question for each game: how was the game won?"

Interesting
What a surprise. Mark McGwire, who hit 583 home runs in his career, is the new hitting coach for the St. Louis Cardinals.
Interesting fact: McGwire only had 3 sacrifice hits in his career. How many hitting coaches can say that? Hmm...
...
Thought so.
Awesome
I wasn't sure if this was an all time list, or a "new millennium" list. But still... these lists are awesome.
I'll keep you posted on new Bleacher Report articles.
