Preview: Jazz/Pistons on November 25, 2007

The Jazz start a three-game Eastern Conference road trip today, starting with a game against the Detroit Pistons. The Jazz will be racking up their frequent flier miles, as 11 of their next 15 are on the road.

The Jazz match up really well against the Pistons for some reason. They've won 5 of the last 6 games against them. That said, Detroit is no team to slouch on. Four of their starters can be relied on to put up points. Chauncey Billups, Richard Hamilton, Rasheed Wallace and Tayshaun Prince all average around 15 points a game. The scary thing is that when one or two of them is having an off night, the others step up and can drop 20+ on you.

The rest of this trip is very winnable; on Monday they take on the New York Knicks and visit the Philadelphia 76ers on Wednesday.

Would you rather me have rehashed the Pistons were 2-1 last week or that the Jazz were 2-0? Maybe that there are no injuries to note? Thanks for the feedback.

you could tell me something about which players will matchup with which. So who will and who should be guarding Rasheed? Boozer, Okur or do they consider Kirelenko? how about talking about the fact that theoretically Prince and Kirelenko's length and athleticism should cancel each other out. Has is it in the past? can't say personally since i've never seen them play against each other... I'm just saying if you're gonna do a preview you can do more than just generic stuff like injuries, records and rosters.

Although I feel the preview could have used a lil more, I think the real discussion comes with a recap. As the season progresses I'm sure the previews will get more in depth.
