The Grand Finale is here. Today, we're rating the best NFL analysts/pbp men on the 3 national broadcasters (NBC, ESPN, NFL Network). We start off with the pbp men.
- Al Michaels. Honestly, he seems to be less and less interested in calling NFL games. But, he's still the cream of the crop, and is the only person in the world to witness 2 miracles (Tony Romo, USA Ice Hockey Olympic Team).
- Mike Tirico. He is a good pbp guy for College Football, but he seems to be dragged down in the MNF booth. He gets caught up in the stupid interviews and whatnot, and I think that makes him out of his element. If it were just him and Jaws, MNF would be semi-watchable.
- Bryant Gumbel. If you need an explanation (assuming you've listened to him commentate), you are a certified retard. For the retards, this guy should just stick to journalism. So Mr. Gumbel, here are some things you must know by next year.
- The shot clock doesn't exist in the NFL.
- Al Gore isn't an NFL player. Frank Gore is the name you're looking for.
- You don't turn it over on downs after a missed 3rd down conversion. That's the CFL, not the NFL.
Now for the analysts:
- Ron Jaworski. Haven't heard him do any analysis, but he is already better than the rest of the clowns on this list.
- Tie: Kornheiser, Cris Collinsworth, John Madden. They all suck really badly. Madden is just wanting to marry Brett Favre. Tony Kornheiser is a slightly better version of Dennis Miller. Collinsworth works with Gumbel, so that drags him down on contact.
Any agreements? Disagreements?
