Derek Fisher leads both teams in scoring with 7 points. Bryant, and Duncan both have 4 so far.

LA has yet to hit a free throw in just 2 attempts, but it's still early, obviously.

Totally off-topic, but Cleveland Indian ace, Fausto Carmona, left tonight's start early with an apparent leg injury. Damn that's gonna kill my fantasy team... Bryant with the turnover.

The former Laker, Robert Horry, is now in the game for San Antonio.

Wow, LA has ZERO bench points as we near the end of QTR 1. They're gonna need some help from the bench if they wanna play with SA in all 4 Quarters tonight.

So, it's 21-16 LA at the end of the 1st QTR. Bryant with 8 points, 2 rebounds, and 0 assists. Tim Duncan has just 4 points, 4 rebounds, 1 assist, and 1 block. I was expecting a much higher-scoring first QTR, but it's gonna be a great game, I can tell.

Watching Parker, I have a feeling he is ready to take over the game for a little while; attacking the basket to try and just get to the line...

Really sorry for the long absence, but I'm back for the last 3 or 4 minutes of the game. It's currently 90-67 LA with 3 and a half to go. Once again, LA has surprised me, and San Antonio has disappointed me.

Bryant has 22 points, 5 rebounds, and 5 assists. Duncan has a double-double with 12 points, and 16 rebounds.

SA has hit just half of their free throws (5 for 10). LA is shooting 85% from the line (12 for 14). The difference in the game: SA is shooting just 34% from the field, and Tony Parker leads the team in points with just 13.

San Antonio 71, LA Lakers 101

Series will head to San Antonio on Sunday for game 3. SA hit 30 of 87 shots from the field, and 5 of 10 from the FT line. LA ended the game by outscoring the Spurs 64-34 to take a surprising 2-0 series lead.

ARE YOU KIDDING ME!? A 30 point win? What the hell happened to San Antonio? I guess Eva Longoria couldn't distract those damn Lakers enough.
