For the record, nobody in our section saw him throw the bat. We would assume the bat would still be in the picture...

That bat you refer to is in the on-deck circle. Cabrera uses either pine or black colored bats...

In an odd twist of fate, Miguel Cabrera's bat was deported before a Spring Training at bat in Florida. Cabrera shamefully admitted he'd rescued the bat as it was hiding in a load of driftwood in the Miami Beach area. Cabrera went 1-for-3 with two strikeouts and was hit by a pitch in Saturday's game, made more impressive by the fact he played the entire game without a bat in silent protest of the deportation.
