Just thought this could be a fun conversation.

Two questions: 1. What is the easiest sport in order to become a pro that requires the least athletic ability? ie. NASCAR, golf....

2. Easiest position to play in a sport and make the most amount of money: ie. field goal kicker, relief pitcher.....

Question 2 has got to be Back-up or third strinG QB. It's not easy to get there, but once your in, you have it made. I'd hold a clipboard for league minimum any day.

I heard that's why Rex stunk this year. He mastered the "hold" of the clipboard and felt like his skills weren't being used properly.

Getting on and staying on the PGA tour is actually extremely difficult. It also cost tons of money to be able to travel and make it to the events, so if you are not good you can very well end up losing money.

Playing non-tournament golf is easy as long as you've got accuracy in your swing. And it's easier to be a kicker, isn't that right Gramatica brothers?

I'm not following you on the non-tournament golf thing. You mean golden tee?

What about professional bowling for less athletic ability? Is bowling a "sport". Professional poker? Is that a "sport". Spelling Bee Competition? :)

What about the left-handed specialist? They face about 1 batter a week.

I wouldn't want to be an NFL kicker, it might be easy but its not worth that pressure. And if you miss a game winning kick your teammates hate you which would really suck.

Being a relief pitcher can be tough... the easiest position in baseball is probably the second base position; not required to have any special talents or bring huge numbers offensively
