Molina with a base hit. Leadoff man on first for the Cards. Will Rogers be pulled now. Zemaya is warming up in the pen.

Groundball to Santiago and he throws to 2nd to get the force.

4-6-3 Double play hit into by Eckstein. Rogers continues his scoreless innings streak and Eckstein continues his hitless at-bat streak in the WS. 3-0 Tigers, bottom of the 8th inning we go.

Wainwright comes in with 2 out in the bottom of the 8th.

And makes short work of Granderson. He is such an upgrade over Isringhausen. Top of the 9th, Last licks for the Cardinals, down 3-0.

Todd Jones will come in to try and close the door on Game 2.

Molina grounds to short, flip to 2nd. Game over. Tigers win. Todd Jones gave Tigers fans a bit of heartburn there at the end, but he'll get the save. Rogers get the W and this series is tied at 1-1. Series now heads to St Louis for 3 games srarting on Tuesday. Tigers even it up 3-0. Peace out!!
