Kobe Bryant needs to keep his mouth shut

You may or may not know me for my work over at Stupid Sideline Reporters , but today I'm making my debut article on ArmchairGM.

Today, I've got no choice but to talk about Kobe Bryant. Why does he keep talking and talking and talking? For weeks now, the Los Angeles Lakers star has been asking a trade from LA, and denying that he wants to go, and backtracks everything he says. It's not that Jerry Buss isn't helping this drama even more. He got busted for drunk driving a few weeks back, was likely the mastermind behind trading Shaquille O'Neal (Not that Shaq's complaining, he just got another ring), and now gets caught up in the Kobe trade rumor mill. You have to ask yourself, where is Phil Jackson in all of this? Because he's already written a book based on Bryant, you have to wonder what his opinion is on this mess.

So bloggers of the world, does Kobe Bryant get traded or not? And if he does get traded, where would he most likely end up?

Update: Kobe Bryant is dead serious about leaving Los Angeles, stating that on a website.

Welcome to the 'chair. I agree, he needs to cram it. Trade him across-town to basketball purgatory.

To NY? You send him from a team that has no supporting cast, to a Knicks team that barely has a supporting cast for Kobe? I did hear of Kobe possibly going to Chicago though.

ESPN reported that rumor this morning. Who really knows what Bryant wants at this point?

I find it highly suspect that Kobe shut up just long enough for the playoffs to finish, and then started complaining as soon as the serason ended. Someone is pulling his strings.

Well all of this started up again after he visited Buss in Spain. That must've been scheduled so I personally don't see any suspicious activity.

Kobe is the best overall player in the game. He has earned the right to say whatever he damn well feels like.

Yes, yes of course let's support the poor misfortunate Kobe Bryant who changes his mind on where he would like to play on a day by day basis. Hell, we should all chip in and get the poor guy an airline ticket to Colorado so he can clear his mind and unwind a bit.

Kobe needs to stop whining. Overpaid babies are ruining pro sports. Don;t like that you're the best guy on a crappy team? Shut up and act like the professional you're getting paid to be, or retire like Barry Sanders, without all the whining.

he will get traded, because he said that if he doesn't get traded, he won't play.

who cares about the darn book? its the fact that kobe is so assertive worries me. if he could that, imagine. he could get himself into a good team, and face it, the interest for kobe is huge.owners would love to have kobe on their team.
