Cleveland-Boston 6/24 Game - Random Fan Observations

Well, I was expecting a pitcher's duel yesterday and that's definitely what I got. Stil, there are already some blogs that talk abotu the matchups, the lack of hitting, etc., so instead I'm make this a lighter blog and show some interesting observations.
1. Most cheered person was Grady Sizemore, most booed was Manny, followed by Coco, and no one else really got booed, sans maybe Varitek. Manny comes as no surprise, but Coco being booed when he hasn't really helped the Sox at all this season shows how we feel when our guys leave. We don't need them, we move on.
2. Barry Bonds's birthday was yesterday. When they flashed his name on the screen, there were generally boos heard around the area. They weren't loud (on par with Coco's I'd say) or immense, but they were significant in the scheme of things. (even Michael Richards didn't receive any boos in Cleveland when his name flashed)
3. The umpire's strike zone was VERY low yesterday. I saw about 10 balls in total that were called strikes, one or two that were pretty obvious. And I'm talking about both sides. (Especially Papelbon against Nixon)
4. If you saw Sunday's game, you saw that the Boston-Cleveland fans were almost split. I think $1 hot dog night and a realization of that led to the Sox fans being quelled a lot better.
5. Once Papelbon came out, a nice chunk of the people around me left and went home. Shows how Cleveland feels about Papelbon there, he's got great stuff.
6. I enjoy stadium hot dogs.
7. First game I ever went to where Cleveland got shut out :(
8. Daisuke and Sabathia are both premier pitchers in the AL from what I saw last night.
Tht's all for today. I haven't written anything in a while so here ya go.
