===What is a Personal Attack and Acts of Misconduct:===
Personal attacks are a rhetorical strategy of attacking one’s opponent personally rather than attacking their views, argument, or stance on an issue.
Threats of violence, including death threats against other users and members of a users family (this includes posting pictures of violence or links to websites related to violence).
Posting personal information about a user or a user's family (names, addresses, phone numbers, photos, email addresses).
Racial, sexual, homophobic, ageist, religious or ethnic epithets directed against another user. (Disagreement over what constitutes a religion, race, sexual preference, or ethnicity is not a legitimate excuse.
Profanity directed specifically against another user
The level of profanity will be defined by the current users as well as the users involved in any such discussion, however excessive use of profanity and/or profanity that a user finds offensive will not be tolerated.  As the Terms of Service defines, ArmchairGM is for anyone age 13 and up.
Activities including, but not limited to “trolling,” “flaming” and any other type of disruptive commenting, messaging or attacking will not be tolerated.  
Flaming is generally defined as comments that are intentionally angry or mean-spirited with the intent (conscious or not) to disrupt.
Trolling may include commenting/posting etc. designed with the intent of attracting predictable results, flames or a desired negative effect.  Some troll postings may even be designed to cause others to look “stupid” or disconnected.  Trolling is generally a comment, post, etc with the purpose of being annoying or disrupting the discussion or creating a poor discussion with respect to the community.  Trolls in fact have no real interest in adding to the discussion, but to simply create problems.  
Continued ill treatment and berating of users who have previously been punished/banned/disciplined by the Administrators in cases where the user has changed their ways and learned from their mistakes.

Please note that all contributions to ArmchairGM are considered to be released under the GFDL. If you don't want your writing to be edited mercilessly and redistributed at will, then don't submit it here.
