First of all, I'm 22, not 14. I just think that it's inappropriate, and we did say that there were minors on this site over the whole profanity discussion with FP recently, so I think it should be changed.

Homo is not profanity. And if that constitutes as a slur (satirizing the "Romo" surname) then you are being ridiculous.

I support TB on this one, he's just taking the piss out of Romo, I've heard the Cowboys called worse in sports bars. Homo is a shorten version of a socially accepted term. If Romo's name was Tony Ray, and TB called him Tony Gay, would this be an issue? As far as minors go, if you don't think tons of kids who don't like the Cowboys aren't created enough to already come up with the "Romo, Homo" joke then your being narrow minded. These kids are smart these days, they have internet access like us in our 20s didn't even have until mid, late high school.

That's the thing. It's exactly the same issue. If I or Tyrone or any other user made a derogatory comment about someone's race (either an athlete or another user, both of which I saw in that other article), it would be met with disdain, a call for redaction, and possibly disciplinary action. All I'm claiming is that it is no less unacceptable to make derogatory comments about sexuality. There is /no/ difference.

And I did not. This is a CLASSIC example of immature admin over-abuse of privileges.
