Zeke Wrigley (George Watson Wrigley) was born on January 18, 1874 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He made his Major League debut on August 31, 1896 for the Washington Senators. In 1897, his rookie year, he hit .284 with 3 home runs and 64 RBI. Wrigley played for the Washington Senators, New York Giants and Brooklyn Superbas over the course of his 4 year career.
Most people believe that Zeke Wrigley's best season was 1897, when he hit for a .284 average and knocked in 64 runs.
