Zeke Bonura

Zeke Bonura (Henry John Bonura) was born on September 20, 1908 in New Orleans, Louisiana. He made his Major League debut on April 17, 1934 for the Chicago White Sox. In 1934, his rookie year, he hit .302 with 27 home runs and 110 RBI. Bonura played for the Chicago White Sox, Washington Senators, New York Giants and Chicago Cubs over the course of his 7 year career.
Most people believe that Zeke Bonura's best season was 1936, when he hit for a .330 average and knocked in 138 runs.
